What it does: Sculptra is an injectable filler used to restore facial volume lost due to aging or illness. It works gradually as it stimulates collagen production for a more youthful appearance. Your skilled provider will use a natural collagen stimulator to activate your body’s own tissue, creating a controlled inflammatory response to produce collagen.
Who it’s for: Anyone who wants to treat deep lines, creases and folds gradually to achieve a more youthful, natural appearance – without others asking if you’ve had a cosmetic treatment.
What to expect: The Sculptra process takes several months, spread over 2-3 sessions. Treatments should be scheduled 4-6 weeks apart. Your provider will determine how many vials you need per session. You will gradually begin to look younger, not all at once. No one can say for sure that you have had something cosmetically done; they are kept guessing.
SCULPTRA SERVICE TIMEFRAME
1 Hour
Please allow 1 hour for your treatment. Please arrive with a clean, makeup-free face. If you would like to add a Botox/Dysport service to your appointment, please let us know at the time of booking. A few days after treatment, you will look as you did before the treatment. This is normal! Over time, Sculptra will replace lost collagen. Visible results may not be seen until 2-3 sessions have been completed. Results can last more than two years.

Post-Care Instructions
Immediately After Visit
Follow the 5/5/5 rule: Massage the treated area for 5minutes, 5 times per day, for 5 days.
Within 1 Day
Please avoid strenuous exercise and alcoholic beverages for 24 hours after your Sculptra treatment.
Within 2-7 Days
Treated area may be red, swollen or bruised for 2-7 days. Apply ice packs to the treated area as needed. If bruising occurs, you may use Arnica tablets or apply topical Arnica gel. You may also drink fresh pineapple juice and/or take Bromelain supplements to expedite healing. You may take Acetaminophen (Tylenol) if you experience any tenderness or discomfort. Any bruising can be covered with makeup if desired.
Within 3 Weeks
Avoid laser, IPL or skin tightening treatments for at least 2-3 weeks post-treatment.
FAQ for Sculptra
Is there a difference between Sculptra and fillers?
Yes! Sculptra helps build collagen over time and can treat volume loss after multiple treatments/sessions. Dermal fillers are used to treat volume loss, and results are immediate.
Am I a good candidate for Sculptra?
Yes, everyone is a good candidate for Sculptra. Sculptra can help stimulate collagen from the surface to deep within the skin, helping with fine lines/wrinkles and increasing volume to areas of loss.
Should I plan for downtime after my treatment?
It is common for bruising, swelling and tenderness immediately after treatment. However, this shouldn’t prevent you from returning to your daily routine after injections. We recommend scheduling injections around social events.
When will I see results?
Results commonly become noticeable within 6 weeks after treatment and improve with time. Peak results can be seen about 6 months after your final session.
How long do results last?
Results from treatment should last 2-3 years or more. Depending on the patient, we may recommend yearly maintenance injections, but many patients are fully satisfied after being treated to full correction.
How many vials do I need?
The number of vials and sessions needed depends on your aesthetic goals. On average, clients will receive 4-6 vials over the course of 2-3 treatment sessions.
Is this treatment safe while pregnant or breastfeeding?
You cannot receive Sculptra injections while pregnant or breastfeeding.
