What it does: DiamondGlow® is more than a facial. Unlike traditional wet facial treatments, which rely on chemical exfoliation to treat skin at surface level, DiamondGlow’s® patented recessed diamond tip wand delivers a next-level resurfacing treatment. Your provider customizes your treatment to your skintone.
Who it’s for: Anyone who wants to reveal radiant skin without invasive procedures.
What to expect: Experience 1 hour of deep-cleaning and rejuvenation. Designed to work with advanced medical-grade skincare products to deliver radiant, healthy skin.

DiamondGlow+®
What it does: In addition to the benefits DiamondGlow® offers, DiamondGlow+® offers a next-level treatment that will leave your skin healthier and smoother. This treatment may include dermaplaning (removal of peach fuzz and dead skin cells), LED light therapy (to accelerate tissue repair), extractions, a treatment mask, and a hand and arm massage. Your provider customizes your treatment to your skin tone.
Who it’s for: Anyone who wants to relax and get pampered while revealing healthier skin, a smoother complexion, and less congestion in your pores – without invasive procedures.

DiamondGlow® at MK
Post-Care Instructions
Immediately After Visit
Some patients may experience a mild redness immediately following the DiamondGlow® treatment. This is temporary and generally resolves within 20 minutes up to several hours. You may apply makeup immediately after your treatment.
Within 3 Days
Please avoid the use of topical products containing Retinol, Vitamin A and AHAs for 3 days post-treatment.
Within 1 Week
Please avoid exfoliating for 1 week post-treatment. You may notice some sensitivity when applying your skincare products. If a product causes too much sensitivity, discontinue use of that product for a few days. You may experience a breakout following your treatment as your skin purges the impurities. This will resolve on its own and generally becomes less apparent with subsequent DiamondGlow® treatments.
FAQ for DiamondGlow®
How does DiamondGlow® compare to a regular facial or hydra facial?
The main difference is hydra facial uses chemical exfoliation while the DiamondGlow® uses manual exfoliation with a diamond tip. DiamondGlow® can infuse the serum deeper into the skin creating lasting hydration and can be used on all skin types including pregnant and nursing women. Can earn 150 points in the Alle program
How often should I get a DiamondGlow® treatment?
We recommend 1-2 treatments per month to see continued improvement and glowing results. Your provider will determine your personalized treatment plan at your appointment.
Should I plan for downtime after my treatment?
There is absolutely no downtime with this facial, making it the perfect treatment for over your lunch break.
If I haven’t had a facial before, which facial should I start with?
We are huge fans of both the Fire & Ice Facial and the DiamondGlow® treatment. Both are non-invasive skin resurfacing treatments with zero downtime and can be done up to 1 day before any formal events.
How often should I get a facial?
Ideally, we recommend a facial once a month; however, certain patient concerns are unique and may require a specific treatment schedule.
I don’t do anything for my skin; how should I start?
We recommend starting with a skincare consultation. During this appointment, your skilled MK Aesthetics provider will suggest products that target your skincare concerns. Your provider will also help develop a treatment plan that aligns with your lifestyle and skincare concerns.
Can I use Alle for my skin treatments?
Yes! You’ll be eligible to receive Alle points on DiamondGlow® treatments that can be used for future savings on DiamondGlow®, SkinMedica and other Allergan Aesthetics in office treatments/products.
Is this treatment safe while pregnant or breastfeeding?
Can be used on all skin types including pregnant and nursing women.
