1. Your skilled provider preps your skin for the treatment and applies a numbing agent.
2. We use a saline glide to go over the surface of your skin to create micro channels, applying the treatment to the full face and neck.
3. Enjoy relaxing LED light therapy to help reduce redness and inflammation, speeding up the healing process.

1. Your skilled provider preps your skin for the treatment and applies a numbing agent.
2. We draw a small sample of your blood and pull out the PRP.
3. We apply the PRP with the SkinPen.
4. Follow after-care instructions from your provider.

Post Care Instructions
Immediately After Visit

Do not apply anything to the skin until 6-8 hours after your SkinPen+ treatment, including makeup, SPF and any other products. Mineral makeup maybe worn after the 6-8 hour initial post-treatment period; however, we recommend leaving skin clean for at least 24 hours if possible.
Do not use an electric or manual facial brush of any kind (i.e.,Clarisonic or similar) for7 days post-treatment.
Within 1-2days: Redness and/or swelling is common and should resolve within 1-2 days.
SkinPen+ with PRP
Please do not cleanse or remove PRP for at least 6 hours following your SkinPen+ with PRP treatment. PRP can be left on the skin until the following morning. Your face may feel tight. Wash your face with water only 6 hours after your treatment or the following morning, then start the skincare regimen as recommended by your provider. Use only a gentle, mild cleanser until you heal (about 5-7 days)

Some bruising, pinpoint bleeding, minor scabbing, minor breakouts, swelling and/or redness may occur and will resolve within 7-10 days after your treatment. Do not pick, peel, rub, scrub or otherwise irritate your skin while it is healing, as this may cause scarring or hyperpigmentation.

Please wait at least 7 days to resume the use of products containing Retinol, Vitamin A, Vitamin C or Glycolic acids. Also avoid anti-acne formulas, exfoliation products and any products containing BHA or AHA.

FAQ for SkinPen+
When can I expect results from SkinPen?
You will start to see noticeable results around 1 month after your treatment.
What should I expect after the treatment?
Side effects are minimal and typically include minor flaking or dryness of the skin. Scab formation is rare. Your skin may appear pink or red, like a sunburn, for 24-48 hours after your treatment.
Is it painful?
Topical numbing will be applied prior to your treatment to help minimize any discomfort.
How many treatments will I need?
Depending on your goals, we will create a customized plan for you. We usually recommend 3 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart for best results.
Is this treatment safe while pregnant or breastfeeding?
This treatment is not advised if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
